Henry Ascott is a professional drummer and educator based in Hornsby, NSW, with close to two decades of experience behind the drum kit. Graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from JMC Academy in 2023, Henry has spent the last 5 years as a drum teacher and educator in Sydney's Upper North Shore. Throughout his tenure, he has taught over 100 students, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to his craft and a passion for nurturing musical talent. Henry is dedicated to sharing his expertise with aspiring musicians.

Henry's Background

Henry's roots trace back to Essex, England, where his musical journey kicked off at a mere 2 years old, the moment he first got his hands on drumsticks. Growing up in a household brimming with musicians, Henry had the invaluable advantage of being mentored by his father, a seasoned professional marching drummer. This early exposure laid the foundation for Henry's innate sense of rhythm and passion for percussion.

As Henry matured, his musical interests evolved, leading him to explore a myriad of genres that stretched the boundaries of his drumming and musical comprehension.
